We are particularly interested in seeking new instructors for our Community Learning program for adults, a wide variety of non-credit offerings designed to enrich adult community residents, and for Youth Enrichment, including specialized workshops throughout the year, ACT Test Preparation classes for those preparing to enter college and a strong summer program called College for Kids.
The 15 counties served by LLCC have diverse populations and some ideas may be more marketable in one area and not in another. We may offer the same course at our four regional centers taught by different individuals. In these cases, we try to consolidate the curriculum across the offerings.
Our goal is to match up quality-oriented and marketable workshops, classes, events and travel with those who are interested in paying for them. There are no financial aid funds for non-credit classes. Community Education operates as a self-sustaining program of Lincoln Land Community College. For more details, contact: Judy Wagenblast at 217.786.2430 or judy.wagenblast@llcc.edu.
