In an effort to provide a smoke-free learning and working environment at Lincoln Land Community College, the use of tobacco products by students, faculty and staff will be restricted to designated areas away from buildings.
Revised policy relating to tobacco use on campus, adopted May 24, 2006 by the Lincoln Land Community College Board of Trustees.
Effective Date: August 14, 2006
The smoking of cigarettes, cigars, pipes or any other forms of tobacco or similar substance used for smoking is prohibited within any College-owned or College-controlled facility. The use of tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing
tobacco, snuff, etc.) is prohibited within any College-owned or
College-controlled facility or vehicle. The use of tobacco products is
permitted only in designated areas on College-owned or
College-controlled grounds.
