ONLINE Registration for LLCC’S Community Learning Now Available!
The Community Education department at Lincoln Land Community College is a wonderful resource for non-credit learning activities, with offerings for people of all ages!
We operate four programs, summarized here. Find details by clicking on the words to the left:
Community Learning: LLCC publishes two catalogs each year listing non-credit classes, workshops, events and travel opportunities open to adults and youth. See the Zmag version of our current catalog above, listing what's available between Jan. - Aug. 2011, which also includes Super Kids Saturday activities for March and April. AND - don't forget to look under EXCITING SPECIALS! (to the left), where you will see pdf versions of posters and brochures about other special programs.
College For Kids: Every summer we offer our College For Kids (CFK) experiences of half-day programs of unique learning opportunities for youth who are enrolled in grades Kdg.- 8th. Special CFK Intensified workshops are offered for those who are enrolled in grades 6th - 8th.
Academy of Lifelong Learners (ALL): Senior citizens who are age 50 or greater are welcomed to become members of this self-governing learning community sponsored by Lincoln Land Community College. More than one dozen programs offered each month, most offered for FREE with a paid membership.
Road Scholar/Elderhostel: Adventures in Lifelong Learning
LLCC has been a provider of programs in Springfield for this national program for more than 25 years and we welcome visitors from all over the U.S. who want to learn more about Abraham Lincoln's life in central Illinois and this year we are offering new programs on a variety of themes!
