Photography & Photo Editing Workshops

Looking to learn more about your camera or how to edit your photos?  Look no further!  The Capital City Training Center offers several hands-on courses to help you explore settings on your camera and to challenge your picture-taking skills.  In addition, we also offer workshops on how to touch up your photos and apply effects to enhance your photos.  Additional classes will be scheduled over the rest of the year - check back for new titles & dates! 

Payment is required at time of registration in order to reserve your seat in the class.

 Evening Class Information

Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) is providing an expanded program of classes, workshops, and services using state-of-the-art technology at the Capital City Training Center (CCTC). The Capital City Training Center is another clear example of LLCC's commitment to providing accessible learning opportunities for citizens across the LLCC district.

We offer hands-on training using the software that businesses demand. Courses are offered for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. A working knowledge of Windows is required for all Windows-based software classes. Credit you earn may be applied toward a Certificate in Microcomputers Data Processing (MDP) from Lincoln Land Community College. Materials are included in the cost of each class.

Parking

Free parking is located on Mason Street.

How to register

Please call Julie at 217.524.6749 or in person at 130 West Mason Street, Springfield. Payment is due at time of registration. Checks should be made out to Lincoln Land Community College. We accept cash, check, money order, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa. Your employer can be invoiced upon request.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made 10 business days prior to the first day of the scheduled class. If less than 10 business days, the full course fee will be charged. Substitutions may be made at any time before the class begins.

College Credit

Participants can earn college credit hours from Lincoln Land Community College for all software-application courses, main frame courses, network-technology courses and Internet courses.

Guarantee

The staff of Lincoln Land Community College's Capital City Training Center meets the highest standards in educational excellence. Students who are not completely satisfied with a course and provide their dissatisfaction in writing to Lincoln Land Community College may retake the course at no charge the next time it is offered.

 Green Initiative & Electronic Schedule

Effective July 1, 2009, the Capital City Training Center (CCTC) will provide the quarterly schedule of classes electronically, following Lincoln Land Community College’s Green Initiative.  The CCTC schedule of classes is available online (links are on the left side of this page) and by e-mail.
