Getting Started
 Getting Started with Online Learning

This site will provide you with the necessary information to begin your online course. It is recommended that you review the materials on this site and the sites linked from this page before you begin your online learning experience.

1. Test your Blackboard username and password - The username and password you use to log into Blackboard is the same as your LLCC network username and password. This is the same login information that is used to access your campus email and other network services.

 

 2. Activate your LLCC Email accountAll LLCC Blackboard accounts will use LLCC email accounts. It is very important that you activate and use your LLCC email account, as this is a primary method of communication with your instructor.

 

3. Complete the Orientation to Online Learning – The orientation is located in Blackboard under “Courses in which you are enrolled.” The orientation will cover strategies that will help you succeed in your online course. The Orientation to Online Learning will also include technical tutorials, study skills information, and additional resources related to online learning success.

 

It is important that you follow these steps as soon as possible to ensure a successful start to your online course. Completing these steps will also allow your instructor to contact you with specific course information.
