LLCC's Green Center is one of 12 IGEN member colleges to receive funding for sustainability professionals in 2010, thanks to a grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). Due to these funds and additional support from the Illinois Congressional Representatives, the Department of Education, and the Department of Energy, funding support exists through April 2011.
