11/5-Veterans Club invites you to display flags; donate holiday cards |

In anticipation of Veterans Day, the LLCC Veterans Club invites you to display the flag you may have received from the Club on Sept 11. There are some 30 remaining, if anyone would like to pick one up in the Veterans Affairs Office. Also, the Club is collecting handmade or store-bought holiday cards to distribute to soldiers overseas. Please bring them to the VA office. Thanks!

11/3-Meet new LLCC police officer Aaron Jahns |
 Aaron Jahns, (click Read More to see photo) has joined the LLCC Police Dept. and after his field training period is completed he will be assigned to the third watch. Officer Jahns comes to us from the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Dept., where he worked as a Corrections Officer.He is certified as a police officer by the state of Illinois, and has worked as a part-time police officer with the Springfield Park District and Village of Grandview. Please help us in welcoming Aaron to the LLCC family! |
