9/8 - LLCC welcomes Venturing/Exploring: Career & Activity Exploration Fair Tuesday

Notice the large sign? Engineering Explorer Post 6, sponsored by the Illinois Department of Transportation District 6 is hosting a Venturing & Exploring Open House: “A Career & Activity Exploration Fair” on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Trutter Center.  The event is open to students between the ages of 14-20 and their parents.

A group of Japanese students visited LLCC Thursday as part of a delegation hosted by UIS and the Sister Cities Association.  Blanca Bernasek, director, Multicultural Awareness Center and and Jay Kitterman, director, hospitality management/culinary programs, coordinated the effort with UIS.
