Natalie Richardson of Cantrall, Illinois was recently elected to serve as Student Trustee on the Lincoln Land Community College Board of Trustees, representing all LLCC students.
In February, she was named LLCC’s first-ever homecoming queen.  She says she is very glad she chose LLCC for the first two years of her college degree.

“I wanted to stay close to home and save money because I’m paying for college by myself. I was very active in high school, and wanted to do the same in college, but not get swallowed up in a big university. Lincoln Land was a great choice. I can live at home and be involved with my family, but still participate in all the activities here.”

Natalie plans to eventually attend Western Illinois University and earn a degree in graphic communication and professional writing.
