LLCC Capital City Center to host Microsoft Across America Truck May 3

SPRINGFIELD—Lincoln Land Community College’s Capital City Center, in partnership with Directions Training Center and Microsoft, will host the Microsoft Across America Truck Thursday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at LLCC’s Capital City Center, 130 W. Mason, Springfield. The event is free and open to the public.
The Microsoft Across America trucks are a fleet of 42-foot trucks containing the latest state-of-the-art technology. According to the Microsoft Web site, Microsoft Across America strives to assist customers in making strategic technology and business decisions by taking the latest technology directly to the doorsteps of customers. Visitors can meet with local experts and experience practical, integrated software and hardware solutions in a hands-on environment. Solutions available include Microsoft Office Small Business Edition, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Server 2003, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and the latest from Cisco, Hewlett-Packard, Intel and more.
In addition to the truck, various software demonstrations will be held inside the Capital City Center at the following times:
10 – 11 a.m. - SQL 2005 and Business Intelligence 11:15 – 12:15 a.m. - Visual Studio 2005 12:30 – 1 p.m. - .NET 3.0 Introduction
