The public is invited to celebrate the holidays in the grand Renaissance tradition at the Lincoln Land Community College 28th Annual Christmas Madrigal Dinner. The event will be held Friday and Saturday, December 8 and 9, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 10, at 5:00 p.m. in the Student Union of Menard Hall, LLCC main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road. Seating is limited. Tickets are $25 each; please call for group pricing. Reservations may be made by calling 786.2785 or 866.260.6582. The event will consist of musical entertainment and skits by the LLCC Madrigal Singers and a meal including wassail and assorted cheeses, vegetable soup, roasted chicken and vegetables, English pound cake, coffee and tea. The LLCC Madrigal Singers are under the direction of Barbara Lanham, professor of music, and Melinda Pitt-Kaye, adjunct music and private applied voice instructor. The event is produced by Gregg Brown, adjunct faculty coordinator at LLCC.
