FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                    Date:  May 22, 2007 Contact:  Diane Buzick, 786.4508, diane.buzick@llcc.edu SPRINGFIELD—The Lincoln Land Community College MotorSports Club is hosting its fourth annual cruise-in and car show Friday, July 6 and Saturday, July 7, on LLCC’s main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, Springfield.  Car enthusiasts are encouraged to participate. On July 6, a free “park-n-peek” cruise-in will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. on the main campus.  The evening will feature a 50/50 drawing, remote broadcast from COOL 101.9 FM plus music and announcements courtesy of Robbin Terry, Midwest Classic Insurance. On July 7, the car show will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  In addition to the entries on display, the event will feature a Sports Car Clubs of America (SCCA) auto cross, swap meet, vendors, door prizes, 50/50 drawing, food, music and more. Trophies for first, second and third places will be awarded in 36 entry and award classification divisions in addition to “best of” trophies. Entry fee is $15.
