SPRINGFIELD – Lincoln Land Community College’s TEAL (Training and Education for Adult Learners) program is offering free preparation classes for the GED exam. Instruction includes reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Morning classes are available at the LLCC Southern Region Education Center, 102 North Main Street in Hillsboro and evening classes are available at the Southern Region Education Center, #1 Lincoln Land Drive in Litchfield.
The TEAL program also offers TEEM (Technology for Education and Employability Mastery) classes that cover basic office skills and are designed for the unemployed or underemployed student looking to improve their skills for employment opportunities. The self-paced instruction includes introduction to computers, word processing, filing and bookkeeping.
