Lincoln Land Community College's Training and Education for Adult Learners (TEAL) program is offering free summer GED, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Technology for Education and Employability Mastery (TEEM) classes at various locations throughout the LLCC district.

GED exam preparation classes include instruction in reading, writing, math, science and social studies.  GED classes are being held in Beardstown, Girard, Hillsboro, Litchfield, Jacksonville, Petersburg, Springfield and Taylorville.

ESL courses offer basic instruction in English, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.  ESL classes are available in Beardstown and Springfield.

TEEM classes cover basic office skills and are designed for the unemployed or underemployed students looking to improve their skills for employment opportunities.  The self-paced instruction includes introduction to computers, word processing, filing and bookkeeping.  TEEM classes are being offered in Beardstown, Hillsboro, Litchfield, Jacksonville, Springfield and Taylorville.
