LLCC accepting registrations for citizenship interview preparation workshop

SPRINGFIELD—Registrations are being accepted for a citizenship interview preparation workshop offered by the Lincoln Land Community College Training and Education for Adult Learners (TEAL) program. The workshop begins Sept. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. and continues Saturday, Sept 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on LLCC’s main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, Springfield.
The workshop content concentrates on the information needed to successfully pass the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Service) interview. Workshop content includes information about the application process, a review of U.S. history and government and the U.S. Constitution, as well as practice for the citizenship interview. The workshop is fast-paced and is designed for those who have intermediate to advanced English skills.
