FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                Date:  January 2, 2008 Contact:  Diane Buzick, 786.4508, diane.buzick@llcc.edu SPRINGFIELD—Immigrants interested in the United States of America citizenship application process are invited to enroll in the upcoming citizenship class at Lincoln Land Community College.  The class is scheduled to meet Saturdays, Jan. 12 through Feb. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The class will meet on the college’s main campus at 5250 Shepherd Road, Springfield. Participants will learn about citizen eligibility and the application process, the history and government of the U.S. and the U.S. Constitution.  Additionally, students will have the opportunity throughout the course to practice the English needed during the citizenship interview.
