FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                        Date: January 7, 2008 Contact:  Diane Buzick, 786.4508, diane.buzick@llcc.edu SPRINGFIELD–Lincoln Land Community College’s Capital City Center is hosting a “Taste of Training” Thursday, Jan. 17 from 7:30 a.m. to noon.  The event will be held at the LLCC Capital City Center located at 130 W. Mason St., Springfield.  There is no charge for the event. Businesses, individuals and government entities are invited to the event to get a “taste” of professional development and business training opportunities that the Capital City Center provides.  Participants will have the opportunity to choose three one-hour breakout sessions to attend.  Some of the breakout sessions being offered include:  Creating Accessible Web Sites, Project Management for Teams, Establishing a Workplace Safety and Health Program, Grammar Refresher, Professional Presentations, Business Writing, The Dance of Change—Leadership, a variety of computer software and networking sessions, plus more.
