Contact: Lynn Whalen, lynn.whalen@llcc.edu "Ethereal Love,” a piano concert by Han-Yuan Wang, will be presented Sunday, Feb. 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the Trutter Center at Lincoln Land Community College. The free presentation is part of the LLCC Recital Series, with the public cordially invited to attend. Ms. Wang will be presenting works by Schubert, Bach and Granados. Ms. Wang is the starter strings instructor at Chatham Intermediate Grade School, an adjunct Instructor in the Millikin University Preparatory Department and an active accompanist at Millikin University. In addition, Ms. Wang is a fulltime member of the Millikin-Decatur Symphony Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra and Eastern Illinois University Orchestra. She will also be playing in the Illinois Symphony Orchestra for the rest of the season. She is a frequent adjudicator for IMEA district auditions and IHSA solo and ensemble. She holds a bachelor of music in piano and violin performance from Millikin University, where she received many awards including Pi Kappa Lambda awards and the Alice Herren Ayars Award for best piano student.
