ALL Southern Region to hear about fire safety March 4
|

SPRINGFIELD—Lincoln Land Community College’s Academy of Lifelong Learning (ALL) Southern Region will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday, March 4 at Red Rooster Inn in Hillsboro. Litchfield Fire Chief Matt Weber will present a program on fire safety. Weber has been a firefighter and fire chief since 1975. He has served as a fire service instructor since 1981 and is very active in public education on the topic of fire prevention. ALL members are reminded to make advanced breakfast reservations by contacting LLCC’s Southern Region Education Center in Litchfield at 324.2090. Cost for breakfast is $7.
On Tuesday, March 11 at 9:30 a.m. the All Southern Region Writers Group will meet at the Hillsboro Free Methodist Church, 1400 Seymour Ave. The writing theme for March is "green." Listeners are welcome. Please contact Bonnie Bollman at 532.5204 or bonbol@consolidated.net for further information.
Southern Region ALL members will travel to Highland Thursday, March 20 to hear an organ program at the Palace Theatre, followed by lunch at the House of Plenty and concluding with a tour of the Wick Organ Factory. Members that want to make this tour must sign up at the March 4 breakfast meeting and pay the necessary fees.
