SPRINGFIELD—Lincoln Land Community College is still accepting registrations for a citizenship class currently taking place in Beardstown. Immigrants interested in the United States of America citizenship application process are invited to enroll in the citizenship class that meets Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon at the LLCC Western Region Education Center-Beardstown located at 109 White Pine Lane.
Participants will learn about citizen eligibility and the application process, the history and government of the U.S. and the U.S. Constitution. Additionally, students will have the opportunity throughout the course to practice the English needed during the citizenship interview.
