Show to feature 41 entry and award classification divisions

SPRINGFIELD—Registrations are still being accepted for the Fifth Annual Lincoln Land Community College MotorSports Club Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show this Friday, July 11 and Saturday, July 12 on LLCC’s main campus, 5250 Shepherd Road, Springfield.

On Friday, July 11, a free “park-n-peek” cruise-in will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. on the main campus.  The evening will feature a 50/50 drawing, plus music and announcements courtesy of Robbin Terry, Midwest Classic Insurance.

On Saturday, July 12, the car show will run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Three trophies per class will be awarded in 41 entry and award classification divisions in addition to “best of” trophies.  Entry fee is $15.  The first 150 registrants will receive a T-shirt and dash magnet.

In addition to the entries on display, Saturday’s show will feature a Sports Car Clubs of America (SCCA) auto cross, swap meet, vendors, remote broadcast from COOL 101.9 FM, door prizes, 50/50 drawing, food and music.  Automotive technical sessions are also planned and the Central Illinois Community Blood Center will be on hand to accept blood donations.
