SPRINGFIELD -- Lincoln Land Community College President Charlotte J. Warren, Ph.D., was promoted to the rank of Colonel during a ceremony at Oglethorpe Armory in Ellenwood, Georgia, Jan. 6.  She serves in the Georgia Army National Guard as deputy commander of the Joint Forces Headquarters Medical Command.

“I join the Board of Trustees in expressing our congratulations to Colonel Warren on her well deserved promotion,” said Kent Gray, chair of the LLCC Board of Trustees. “She is not only a leader in education, but a leader in our nation’s armed forces.  All of us at Lincoln Land are proud to support her service to our country and have the utmost respect for her distinguished career with the Army.”
