Open registration is underway for modular term (Mod IV) classes at Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) in Jacksonville and Beardstown.
LLCC’s Western Region Education Center in Jacksonville will offer a variety of eight-week classes beginning March 19 which include Intro to Microcomputers, Basic Nurse Assistant, Intro to Psychology, Composition II, Management, Computer Systems and Business Applications, Leadership, as well as various levels of math courses.
In Beardstown, course offerings will include Intro to Sociology, Composition II, Human Development, Basic Nurse Assistant, as well as a Developmental Algebra class.
All credit classes can be applied toward certificates and/or associate degrees which transfer to four-year colleges and universities. This is a good opportunity for high school students to get a jump start on their college education. In addition, individuals can take classes to upgrade their current work skills or to earn Certificates of Completion. Senior citizens age 65 and older may enroll in any LLCC credit class tuition-free.
