Registration still open for LLCC Campus Visit Day March 31
High school students, parents, and adult learners invited
Lincoln Land Community College invites anyone considering college courses or career training to take a good look at LLCC during the fall Campus Visit Day, Saturday, March 31, 8:30 a.m. to noon on the main campus.
Registration for the event is still open by calling 786.2577 or online at www.llcc.edu.
Separate tracks are planned for high school students with their parents/guardians, and for adult learners. The day will begin with a continental breakfast, followed by “mini-classes” in many different academic fields and sessions on financial aid, online learning and enrolling in college.
Advisors and professors will be available to answer individual questions and discuss students’ interests and goals. Campus tours will be available in addition to registration information on summer and fall classes. Hors d’oeuvres will be served by LLCC Culinary Arts students.
The event is designed to highlight the advantages of earning an associate degree, career degree or certificate at Lincoln Land, including cost savings, personal attention from excellent faculty, transferability of classes to four-year colleges and universities, and ability to start a new career or advance in a current career.
