The Ceramics Club of Lincoln Land Community College will sponsor its second annual “Empty Bowls” fundraiser on Tuesday, April 24 to benefit the Central Illinois Food Bank.

The public is invited to the event from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the LLCC Student Union, Menard Hall on the main campus. 

“For a $10 donation, participants will be able to select a handmade bowl of their choice and will be served soup from Sebastian's,” said Michelle Coakes, LLCC professor of art.

“The bowl is then theirs to keep in remembrance of the event, and in remembrance of those who go hungry every day in our community.”
