The comprehensive program, designed specifically for women, begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. Each student receives a workbook/reference manual.

With more than 7,000 instructors certified and nearly 300,000 women trained, RAD System is the country's largest and fastest growing self-defense program for women and children.  The RAD System curriculum is taught at more than 400 colleges and universities across the United States and Canada, and is the only self-defense program ever to be endorsed by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA).

Cost of the 12-hour course, which is taught by RAD-certified instructors, is $25 per person, which includes a RAD workbook/reference manual. This manual outlines the entire physical defense program for reference and continuous personal growth.  Lifetime re-training is free.
