The Displaced Homemaker Program promotes economic self-sufficiency by providing individuals with services that facilitate progress toward achieving their educational and employment goals.
Program Elgibility: Individual must have been married and have a loss of income due to separation, divorce, disabiity or death of a spouse or individual must have been married and employment was terminated due to disability, permanent layoff, downsizing or company relocation.
Services Provided:
Personal Development - Workshops/ Seminars on money management, relationships, job searches, and more.
Emotional Support through counseling and encouragement.
Referrals to community and social service agencies
