Head Coach
Gary Albert
Coach Albert is entering his third season with the Loggers. He served as assistant coach in 2009 before becoming the head coach in 2010. In his first season, Coach Albert led the team to a 16-13 record and a #17 ranking in the national poll. The Loggers were nationally ranked #16 in 3 point shooting and #17 in team free throw percentage in 2010-2011.
Prior to coming to Lincoln Land, Gary assisted with the women’s basketball programs at Ursuline Academy, Lutheran High School and Rochester School District. He was also involved with the Central Illinois Predator AAU team located in Springfield, IL.
Gary is a 1979 graduate of Glenwood High School. He went on to play basketball at Lincoln Land before transferring to Western Illinois University. Gary graduated from WIU in 1984, with a degree in education. He is employed by the Rochester School district as a teacher and coach.
Gary resides in Springfield with his wife Tammy and daughter Mariah.
Assistant Coach
Casey Siddens
Casey enters her second year as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Lincoln Land Community College.
A native of Rochester, IL, she played two years at Kankakee Community College and then went on to play for the University of North Carolina at Pembroke for two years. While at Kankakee, she helped compile a 57-10 record and the team was the NJCAA National Runner-up for two consecutive years.
She was named regional MVP her sophomore year.
Coach Siddens completed her playing career at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science.
