Using art, technology and engineering to repair damaged vehicles and make them look amazing
Key Program Features
It takes art, technology and engineering know-how to not only make repairs, but to get vehicles dressed to impress. Trained technicians are needed, and LLCC’s certified instructors bring real-life industry experience to teach you the skills required to restore a wide array of automobiles and create the perfect finish. Auto body courses offer the opportunity to learn by doing in a state-of-the-art training facility, which includes paint booths, a frame straightening machine and more. Program graduates have the skills to succeed in the workforce as an auto body service manager, auto or aircraft painter, auto body repairer or auto insurance appraiser.
Employment opportunities for auto body and related repairers have faster than average growth and are expected to grow 13.7 percent from 2014 to 2024. The U.S. Department of Labor expects approximately 48,100 job openings due to growth and replacement needs in the auto body field. The 2016 median annual wage in auto body work was $41,540.
