Office and administrative professionals are a vital part of nearly every industry, and they get to perform a variety of duties. The LLCC Office Professional program prepares students for a career in the ever-changing office environment. Students in our program learn the latest in computer software programs, customer service, office procedures, records management and more. Graduates of our program are employed by educational institutions, legal and medical offices, state agencies and a variety of businesses as administrative assistants, customer service representatives and other clerical positions.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the median annual wage for office and administrative support occupations was $34,050. Growth in the field is projected to grow about 2 to 3 percent from 2014-2024. Those with experience using computer software applications, especially experience with word processing and creating spreadsheets, will increase their job potential in the industry.

Courses for the office professional degree and certificate programs have a standard tuition rate. For the 2018-2019 academic year, these courses have an in-district rate of $129.50 per credit hour.
