Are you interested in caring for patients, from infants to the elderly, and providing key information in diagnosing various brain disorders? LLCC’s unique NDT program puts you on the path to a good-paying and rewarding career. With a nearly 100 percent job placement record, most graduates have job offers before completing the 21-month program. LLCC’s program, one of just 23 in the country, is located at HSHS St. John’s Hospital, which provides access to direct contact with patients, hospital equipment and facilities. Program graduates have the skills to succeed in the workforce as an ND technologist in a hospital lab, clinic, research facility and physicians’ offices.

Cost

For the 2023-2024 academic year (fall 2023, spring 2024 and summer 2024), neurodiagnostic technology (NDT) classes have a tuition rate of $274 per credit hour for in-district residents. All other classes in the program have a standard in-district rate of $137 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.

Free training opportunity

The Pipeline for the Advancement of the Healthcare Workforce (PATH) program provides free training and supports for occupations within the health care field. Learn more about PATH, including support services, programs and eligibility.

Start/Info Session

Sixteen students are admitted each fall semester.

  1. If you are interested in this career, register to attend an NDT information session (a requirement for admission). Session dates and times may vary, and all sessions are held online via Microsoft Teams (a link will be emailed to you the day before the scheduled meeting date).
  2. To help ensure that students are successful, our program has specific admission requirements. All admission requirements must be met to enter the applicant pool, in addition to the LLCC general enrollment steps.
