It is recommended that you use one of the following browsers for your Blackboard courses at LLCC:
Please note: the Internet Explorer browser is not recommended due to compatibility issues with Blackboard.
Tested Devices and Operating Systems
- The following Operating Systems were used by Blackboard in testing supported browsers and should work well with Blackboard: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Mac OS 10.8, Mac OS 10.9, Mac OS 10.10, iOS, Android, Windows Mobile
- Chromebooks use the Chrome operating system, which is not a supported operating system for Blackboard. If you use a Chromebook, please be sure you also have access to a Mac computer or Windows computer so you can fully participant in your Blackboard class, as all technologies (like java) are not supported by the Chromebook Operating System
- Please do not rely ONLY on a tablet, including an iPad, or a smartphone to use Blackboard. Not all features will work on tablets. You will need access to a desktop computer to be able to do everything in your course.
