Students must be admitted to LLCC before registering. All outstanding debts (tuition, library, fees, etc) or other "holds" (suspension, academic problems, etc) must be cleared prior to registration.  Students are responsible for observing all course prerequisites and other restrictions when registering.  Check with an academic advisor to avoid mistakes!  Individuals with disabilities should contact the Special Needs office at 217-786-2869 for disabilities services.

If you register through Registration Services on the main campus, you may register in person or by calling 786-2292.  Outside Springfield call 1-800-727-4161, ext. 6-2292.  TDD: 786-2798.  Phone registration is available for students who have already been admitted.  Registration Services in Menard Hall is open the following hours:

• 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.CST, Monday through Thursday
• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.CST, Friday
• 8 a.m. to Noon CST, Saturday
• (call for holiday closings.)

During peak registration the main phone line on campus experiences heavy usage. 

If you register in person, you need to complete a registration form available at the counter.  If you register by phone, have the following information ready when you call:

• name, social security number, address
• course title, course number, course section number
• credit card number information if you plan to charge your tuition and fees

You cannot register by phone if you have not been admitted or if you have any academic or financial restrictions.

If you choose to register at one of the LLCC regional education centers, the requirements and restrictions are the same as for on-campus registration. Check with the center nearest you for information about operating hours.
