Students from other Colleges / Universities: Students seeking a summer course to transfer back to their "home" college will follow the steps below. Students new to LLCC start by Applying Online.

  1. Course transferability:
    Review course options with an Advisor at your institution to verify transferability.  View course descriptions and prerequisites from current LLCC catalog. Course descriptions in alpha order begin on page 224. Or visit Transferology for course transferability. 
  2. Pre-requisites and your transcripts:
    If the course you are considering has a prerequisite you have completed we will require verification before you register.  Please forward your transcript (student copy acceptable) identifying the course that meets our prerequisite along with a notation listing the LLCC course(s) you plan to enroll in.  Transcripts received without an explanation of intent, or if application for admission has not been made, will not be processed. Make sure your name is on your transcript and please forward your transcript and appropriate information to:

  3. Course Registration:
    Current and returning students should register online. New non-degree seeking students may register in person or by phone. Questions: Just call us, 217-786-2292.  

 

Reuse of Credentials (transcripts) for Admissions: All credentials presented for admissions, credit evaluation or pre-requisite verification becomes the permanent property of the college. These credentials cannot be subsequently released to the student or to another individual or institution, and cannot be held for consideration of admission to subsequent terms / programs.

Notice: In response to changes in federal guidelines, students who wish to enroll in online courses at LLCC must be permanent residents of Illinois. Students who reside outside Illinois may contact the LLCC Admission and Registration office at 217-786-2292 for more information.
