Academic Advisors are here to help you select the appropriate classes to meet your educational needs. Whether you are planning to transfer to a four year school to complete your degree, obtain an Associate Degree, complete one of our many Certificate programs, or just take one or two college classes, Advisors will be able to help you select the classes you need and assist with any questions you may have about the academic side of life at LLCC.  Advisors are available on a first come-first served "walk in" basis during the day and by appointment in the evenings (Mon-Thurs).

Student Development Professionals (Counselors) can also provide assistance with career and personal development decisions.  Counselors can be seen on an appointment or "walk in" basis.

Classes fill up quickly and although advisors will probably be able to find what you need, you will have the best range of choices if you meet with an advisor early!

Check the catalog and class schedule BEFORE you come to see an advisor.  You do not need to make all your decisions but it helps to have some idea of the general area / classes you are interested in taking. It also helps if you have some idea of your commitments outside school (work, family, etc.) so we can tailor a schedule to meet your needs.

The later in the registration period you come, the longer you are likely to wait.  PLEASE BE PATIENT and use the waiting time to check the semester Schedule, and make sure you have the necessary paperwork completed (admission to the college, educational transcripts, and placement test results).
