1. Visit Lincoln Land Community College during junior year of high school
2. Apply 9 to 12 months prior to enrollment for the first semester at LLCC
3. Choose your program of study at LLCC during senior year of high school/freshman year at LLCC
4. Apply for Financial Aid before March 1 for the next academic year (Fall semester – Spring semester combination)
5. Work with advisor at LLCC on transfer curriculum at least one year prior to transfer from LLCC to senior institution
6. Make an appointment to discuss transfer plans with a Transfer Counselor at the next institution you plan to attend one year prior to transfer
7. Apply 9 to 12 months prior to enrollment date for transfer institution
8. Have official transcripts from LLCC sent to the receiving institution upon application and after each semester completed
9. Inquire and apply for Scholarships at the receiving institution before December 1 for the next academic year (Fall semester – Spring semester combination) 
10. Apply for Financial Aid (www.fafsa.ed.gov) before March 1 for the next academic year.
11. Begin residential or off-campus housing search 6 to 9 months prior to enrollment at receiving institution
12. Attend Advisement/Registration program during semester prior to enrollment (plan to meet with your advisor each semester)
13. Move into new place one week prior to beginning of classes
14. Pick up or purchase textbooks at earliest convenience
15. Attend classes
16. Apply for graduation early during your junior year of college to receive a complete degree audit
