- Visit Lincoln Land Community College during junior year of high school
- Apply 9 to 12 months prior to enrollment for the first semester at LLCC
- Choose your program of study at LLCC during senior year of high school/freshman year at LLCC
- Apply for Financial Aid before March 1 for the next academic year (Fall semester – Spring semester combination)
- Work with advisor at LLCC on transfer curriculum at least one year prior to transfer from LLCC to senior institution
- Make an appointment to discuss transfer plans with a Transfer Counselor at the next institution you plan to attend one year prior to transfer
- Apply 9 to 12 months prior to enrollment date for transfer institution
- Have official transcripts from LLCC sent to the receiving institution upon application and after each semester completed
- Inquire and apply for Scholarships at the receiving institution before December 1 for the next academic year (Fall semester – Spring semester combination)
- Apply for Financial Aid (www.fafsa.ed.gov) before March 1 for the next academic year.
- Begin residential or off-campus housing search 6 to 9 months prior to enrollment at receiving institution
- Attend Advisement/Registration program during semester prior to enrollment (plan to meet with your advisor each semester)
- Move into new place one week prior to beginning of classes
- Pick up or purchase textbooks at earliest convenience
- Attend classes
- Apply for graduation early during your junior year of college to receive a complete degree audit
