The Academic Assessment Committee acknowledges that assessment of student learning outcomes occurs on many levels including classroom, course, program, department and college. The purpose of the Committee is to promote continuous improvement and enhancement of student learning through the use of assessment data. The committee is responsible for developing, implementing, and revising as needed the college’s academic assessment plan. The committee will directly oversee assessment of General Education outcomes on the College level and will support and coordinate assessment efforts at the Program/Department level. The committee will also act as liaison to faculty on assessment matters on all levels.
