Small Ball Instruction and League Play
- Ages 9 -18
- June 20 - 23, 9 a.m. - Noon
- Cost: $80
This camp covers all aspects of the "small ball" game of fast pitch softball. Instruction will be provided in the areas of running, bunting, slap hitting, slug bunting and strategies of the small ball game. In addition to improving technical skills, the campers will have an opportunity to compete using the skills associated with small ball play.
Technical and Tactical Skills Camp
- Ages 9 -19
- June 27 - 30, 9 a.m. - Noon
- Cost: $80
This camp covers all aspects of the game of fast pitch softball. Instruction will be provided in the areas of pitching, hitting, running, bunting, fielding, throwing, catching, infield and outfield positional play, as well as conditioning. In addition to improving technical skills, the camp is designed to improve the tactical knowledge of each camper. Campers will learn the meaning of effort and attitiude to getting better!
Players will Receive:
- Camp t-shirt
- four days of professional instruction by college coaches and/or college players
- Instruction by one coach/college player for every 8-10 campers
- evaluation on skills with suggestions for improvement
Campers should bring:
Bring softball cleats, tennis shoes, bats, batting helmet, gloves and any other equipment they feel necessary. Catchers will need to bring their own gear. Parents and coaches are invited to observe and videotape techniques during the camps. Please make sure all personal equipment is properly labeled. LLCC softball program is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
