Lincoln Land Community College Athletic Director Ron Riggle has named Ryan Jones as the new women’s basketball coach. Jones previously served as assistant men’s basketball coach in a volunteer capacity. “Ryan played basketball for the Loggers from 2001 to 2004 and is very familiar with our athletic program,” said Riggle. “We know he will be a great addition to our coaching team. This is also a great opportunity for Ryan to serve as a head college coach.” Jones is a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a degree in recreation management. Jones replaces Jill Barclay, who left Lincoln Land to take over as women’s basketball at Barton County Community College in Great Bend, Kansas.
