Are you looking for an exciting career in the field of aviation? LLCC has the only aviation maintenance and aviation management programs in central Illinois, and they are offered at an affordable cost. Check out LLCC's certificate and degree programs.
Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance
The airframe and powerplant aviation mechanics program provides students with the opportunity to obtain the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airframe and powerplant certificate and, at the same time, earn an associate in applied science degree. Our program can prepare you for a career in a short amount of time: about 18 months. The cost of LLCC’s program is very affordable for the high quality of training and instruction you receive. Classes are small, providing more one-on-one time with the instructors. Graduates of the A&P program are working locally and nationwide in the aviation industry. For more information click here.
The aviation management airway science program at Lincoln Land Community College provides students the opportunity to develop first-line management skills in the aviation industry. The courses offered in the associate of applied science degree program are a mixture of general management and aviation regulations and procedures courses.
By combining the associate degree classroom experience with an appropriate internship, students can qualify for the following positions: air traffic controller, customer service manager, assistant airport manager, assistant marketing director, or communications center coordinator.
