Dental assistants greatly increase the efficiency of the dentist in delivery of quality oral health care. Their main responsibility is to assist with and provide direct patient care alongside dentists and dental hygienists.
Dental assistants may be responsible for sterilizing instruments, taking teeth impressions and performing other various office management tasks such as answering the phones, filing or stocking inventory.

January 8 – May 21
Classroom: Mon/Thurs: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Lab: Thurs or Fri: 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
April 9 – May 11
$3,500 (includes books, materials & lab fees)
Eligible candidates must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Be proficient in English
• Have adequate understanding of 9th/10th grade algebra and arithmetic
120 Hours – Classroom instruction
120 Hours – Hands-on externship
