Event Description:
The Chamber along with several local businesses sponsor two Job & Career Fairs each year due to the overwhelming demand from job seekers looking for full, part-time, or seasonal work and/or changing careers. These job fairs provide members & non-members a cost-effective opportunity to find quality additions to their businesses and organizations. Prospective employees come from all over Sangamon County and central Illinois. Job seekers of all ages (high school students, college students and professionals) seeking a change and anyone interested in changing jobs or looking for a career attend this popular event. These job fairs have a common purpose: to allow companies to screen a large number of candidates in a short period of time. The following businesses will be participating at the event: Capitol Radio Group, CCB Credit Services, Corporation Service Company, Fidelity On Call, GoCom Media of Illinois, LLC, The Horace Mann Companies, Kindred Health Care, Lincoln Land Community College, Lincoln Land Community College - Truck Driver Training, Memorial Health System, Modern Woodmen Fraternal, Northwestern Mutual, St. John's Hospital, Unique Personnel Consultants
