About CELT

 

The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) has been established to encourage and support the exceptional teaching and scholarship of the faculty at Lincoln Land Community College through various activities. CELT also outlines the direction of the College’s comprehensive faculty professional development program based on the vision and mission statements of the college. We recognize that investing in preparation for teaching and proactively planning for improvement of the students’ learning is the cornerstone on which student success is built. The focus of this center is to create opportunities for faculty to share information about pedagogy and other instructional resources that encourage interactive teaching and learning.
