Course Overview:

This internship should provide real-life work experience that combines the efforts and resources of local employers with the academic components of the community college.

Course Objectives:

The student should:

• Benefit from working with real-life situations in established local businesses, government offices, or various college offices on campus.
• Be able to make a contribution to the employer from the knowledge and skills learned in college.
• Be able to preview local employers and determine if selected career goals are appropriate.
