Learning to Knit (Instructor: Jane Hughes-Jackson)
Learn to knit, purl, cast on, increase stitches, decrease stitches and bind off stitches. Participants will also learn about the tools and fibers used to knit. Please bring knitting worsted yard, 200-300 yards, knitting needles size 6 or 7 US, small scissors, ruler or tape measure, and tapestry needle.

Knitting a Hat (Instructor: Cyndi Dodge)
Participants will learn basics of knitting in the round, cables, increases and decreases. Supplies needed include a 16″ circular knitting needle (size 7) a set of 4 double pointed knitting needles (size 7), all preferably bamboo and 1 skein of 100% wool yarn (minimum 200 yards). Pattern will be provided.
