From measuring and cutting fabric to learning the anatomy of a sewing machine and other tools, the basics will be covered! Practice sewing straight lines, curves and pivoting corners to complete a drawstring bag to take home. Please bring the following supplies: sewing machine, rotary cutter or scissors, cutting edge ruler, cutting mat, water soluble pen or pencil, seam ripper, chopstick or something for turning fabric and pushing corners, pins, one fat quarter exterior fabric (fabric A), one fat quarter lining fabric (fabric B).
