What is College For Kids?
CFK is our summer enrichment program for students who have completed grades K-8 (Springfield) and 3-8 (Jacksonville). A variety of classes, one (1) hour in length, will be offered during the months of June (Jacksonville) and July (Springfield).
Classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students choose three classes to attend throughout the week-long session, exploring a new interest, discovering exciting challenges, or developing skills in a fun and exciting way!
We want YOU!
We are seeking highly motivated teachers who are interested in teaching topics of personal interest, current trends, and/or subject expertise.
If you wish to share your time and teaching talents as part of our CFK faculty, please complete and submit the CFK Instructor Proposal Form.
Students attending our youth programs bring their curiosity, excitement, and love of learning. Our instructors work hard to provide classes that are engaging and fun. And our CFK Volunteer Corps helps to make the experiences positive for everyone involved! Whether it’s an hour or an entire day’s worth (8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.), we encourage you to give as much or as little time as you are able during one or more of our scheduled sessions.
If you wish to be a member of our CFK Volunteer Corps, please complete and submit the CFK Volunteer Application.
