  • Develop your skills in the areas of servicing, repairing and diagnosing diesel powered equipment.

  • Skills learned can be used to be a diesel mechanic, diesel technician, farm equipment technician and agricultural technician.

Note: Additional costs include tools and books (prices subject to change). Students are required to have a basic set of tools. If student uses their own tools (which must match required tool list), the tool cost will be removed from final cost. Books sold separately.

Job Outlook

Heavy vehicle and mobile equipment service technicians had a median salary of $53,320 in 2020 according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The demand is strong for qualified technicians both locally and nationally with many companies offering tuition reimbursement and other incentives.

Complete the steps below by Jan. 15 to be considered in the first round of offer letters:

  • Submit your diesel technologies application
  • Attend an information session with the program director
  • Complete all required placement testing
