Job Outlook
Heavy vehicle and mobile equipment service technicians had a median salary of $53,320 in 2020 according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The demand is strong for qualified technicians both locally and nationally with many companies offering tuition reimbursement and other incentives.
Cost
For the 2023-2024 academic year (fall 2023, spring 2024 and summer 2024), Diesel Technologies (DET), sections except 204 and 207, have a tuition rate of $205.50 per credit hour for in-district residents. All other classes in the program have a standard in-district rate of $137 per credit hour. Get more information on tuition and fees.
