§ tour all related facilities;
§ discover how diagnoses are made;
§ learn about new advancements in medicine;
§ gain hands-on experience;
§ determine what educational pathways are necessary for specific careers;
§ observe professionals during a mock drunk driving accident;
§ identify equipment used;
§ distinguish between levels of education; and
§ comprehend what it takes to be successful in an allied health career.

We’re looking for motivated participants who have a true interest in health professions. If you are a serious candidate for the Scrubs program, we are interested in YOU! Interested students must complete the application and eligibility checklist by 5 p.m. on November 30 to the Eastern Region Education Center. There is no cost for participation in this program. Only 10 participants will be chosen for each session.
All programs are held from 4-5:15 p.m.
* Program 2:30-3:45 p.m. – March 20, 2008 only
Parents, grandparents and guardians are invited to the Graduation Ceremony February 14, 2008 (Session I) and April 10, 2008 (Session II) at 5:15 p.m. in the Taylorville Memorial Hospital second floor annex.
