Basic Nurse Assistant Program Prerequisites:
1. Accuplacer Reading Comprehension test of 60 or better
    -or, ACT English score of 22 or better   
    -or, SAT Verbal score of 480 or better,
    -or, RDG 098 grade of "C" or better    
    -or, Wavier into NAS 101.

2. Mandatory physical examination
    -Required prior to the fourth week of class, through your personal physician.
    -Copy of recent physical will be accepted if physical was within the past six months of beginning date.
    -Mandatory Tuberculosis skin tests within one year of the end date of the class.

3. Uniform-required for clinical experience
    -White pants or skirt, white shoes, and white white shirt.
    -Watch with second hand.
    -Blue top-purchase at LLCC bookstore; women wear apron; men wear a scrub top.

4. Twenty-one performance skills test
    -Students must pass this test in order to successfully complete the training program.

5. State competency written exam
    -$50 fee for the exam.
   -MUST be taken in order to successfully complete the curse and be placed on the Health  Care Worker Registry.

6. Mandatory Criminal Background Check fee:
