Free Tax Preparation

• The Center For Economic Progress will be having free tax preparation starting in mid-January through mid-April located at the SPEC facility.
• The Tax Counseling Project serves families with income under $38,000, and individuals with incomes under $15,000. 
• Last year 1,000 volunteers prepared 25,000 federal income tax returns at 35 sites in Illinois!
